Ya’Know…

How I’m always talking about people should listen when Marines speak? Well…I’ll be the first to admit that on rare occasions there have also been some US Marines who probably should not be listened too (L. Harvey Oswald, Scott Ritter, Scott Olsen, all come to mind).

This is not one of those rare occasions.

Ya’know how I sometimes refer to individual US Marines as “The Marine” or the voice thereof? Well…Sometimes that’s true.

ahem. That being said…

There is a time and a place for such. It’s not one that we need or want to see in our nation.

Because the question was raised in FRI’s comment section, the IDF. A nation not much larger then Delaware, 9 miles wide at its thinnest point, with a population of 7 million to recruit from, surrounded on three sides by hundreds of millions of bloodthirsty genocidal manics who swear daily to exterminate 75% of that population. Seems a good time to recruit everybody strong enough to carry and fire a rifle, and teach those too weak to load magazines. The active USMC is bigger, and better armed, then the entire active IDF, combined.
