Yet Another DemocRat Tax Cheat…

President Obama’s nominee for secretary of Health and Human Services, Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, failed to pay $7,918 in taxes and interest, she writes in a letter sent today to Senators Max Baucus and Charles Grassley.

Are there any in the Democrat party leadership that actually pay their taxes? One would think we could balance the budget just by having the IRS audit every single member of the DNC. That is until one remembers that the current head of the IRS is himself a tax cheating member of the DNC.

It would appear as though the leadership of the Party that is raising our taxes, (by as much as 158% in some cases), has no intention of paying those taxes themselves.

It is also quite obvious that those ranking DNC Party members are not bound by the same laws as the rest of us. Because if one of us little people who actually work for a living owed that $8,000 to the IRS, the IRS could and would legally confiscate everything we own while pressing Federal criminal cases against each of us, with Federal prison time pending. But once again, a ranking DNC member simply cuts a large check and all is forgiven – by the now Democrat Party run IRS – not just forgiven, but rewarded with more power and higher pay.

Just as obviously, Nancy Pelosi’s “culture of corruption” speech was a textbook case of projection.

Lil Kims Last No Dong

Yes, North Korea will probably attempt yet another long range missile launch into the Sea of Japan.

Odds are this launch will be no more or less successful then the previous attempts.

Yes, the US Navy has the capability to shoot down that missile, should it be ordered to do so, and assuming that missile actually makes it off the launch pad in one piece. Whether or not that capability is in place and will be ordered is another set of questions entirely. It is highly likely that the Japanese Navy also has the capability to shoot down that missile and there is some possibility that the South Korean Navy may also possess that capability as well.

With the sole exception of the US and allied Ballistic Missile Defense capabilities being considerably improved over the years, there is little to distinguish this particular test launch from any other North Korean test launch of the last twenty years.

In fact the only really important piece of information to come out of this particular imminent launch was US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates comment on the matter…

“I think if we had an aberrant missile, one that was headed for Hawaii, that looked like it was headed for Hawaii or something like that, we might consider it,” Gates said. “But I don’t think we have any plans to do anything like that at this point.”

“We might consider it.”

Let that sink in for a moment or two. We, the Obama administration, might consider defending Hawaii, our 50th state, from an intentional or accidental missile attack – or we might not.
